Courtlen ~ Class of 2011

I love, love, loved working with Courtlen.  He has gorgeous eyes, was so easy going, and was up for anything, even when I asked him to stand in a bathtub.  And that's important during a senior portrait session.  Luckily I was contacted by his mother, whom I've known for about 5 years.  She had seen a previous senior session I did of Stephanie, whose family, wedding and newborn session I also photographed. Once, mom Carolyn saw those images, she was convinced I was the photographer for her only child.  Her Courtlen.

We decided upon shooting our session out at one of my favorite locations outside of Las Vegas.  You may recall this is also where I photographed Jaime & Rob's engagement portraits.  The fun atmosphere, plethora of locations and props, all lead to a fun and carefree session, and that's exactly Courtlen's style.   Don't let his laid back attitude fool you, he has plans for pursing a business degree after graduation, and possibly applying that to the music industry.  For now, managing the soccer team at Western High School is his responsibility.

Courtlen, it was a complete pleasure to photograph this milestone in your life.  I look forward to watching you bloom into the handsome young man I see in the suit.  And with your dynamite smile and piercing eyes, I know you will do well.  I wish you all my best!

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
