A Puppy Named Fish – Fine Art Pet Photography

Dogs aren’t just pets, but a beloved part of the family, often preceding children or being the last child remaining once the kids go off to college. Many owners consider their dog very much a part of the family, no different than children. And so it is important that we celebrate our dogs with professional portraits too, starting from the moment we bring them home.

Fish is only 8 weeks old and his owners brought him into the studio for his very first photo shoot. They’ll be bringing him back for 6 month and 1 year portraits to capture and document his first year of life. They took advantage of our Room View Mockups to help choose the proper size wall portrait, and to also plan out how his future portraits will look in full layout. I can’t wait to share how he grows and changes over this first year.

For the Pet Portrait Fundraiser, Fish’s owner chose to donate their session fee to Rescue Pals.

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
