As many of you know my father is a cardiologist so it was only natural that as I grew up that I would be involved with the American Heart Association. When I started Shalimar Studios in Las Vegas, I expanded that involvement to my business by offering portrait packages for their silent auctions and photographing their different events such as the annual Heart Ball and the Heart Walk.
Throughout all of my interactions with the Las Vegas chapter of the AHA, Monique has been my point of contact. Her kind-hearted personality is perfect for such a career so when I found out she was pregnant with her first child, I was over the moon happy for her and her husband James. Little baby Ethan is so blessed to be coming into such a loving and nurturing family and when Monique honored me with photographing her maternity session, I wanted to cry tears of joy. With all the chaos of what has been happening in the world these days, it so heartwarming to know and be surrounded by such wonderful people. Monique and James, thank you for your friendship, for your commitment to serving others, and for letting me be a small part of your lives by capturing these moments for you. I can't wait to meet Baby Ethan when he arrives.
