Abram Family

They've been married for 6 years and have yet to have family portraits taken.  So when Maria called me to schedule her session, I knew this was going to be a lot of fun.  Not only was Maria's husband Julian going to be there, but spitfire Hana, (2 years old), and newly walking Alex, (1 year old) would be there as well.  The Abram family is so personable, and I felt after talking with Maria that I could have reached through the phone and given her a hug.  They are a family.

I chose Calico Basin for their session, and luckily it was a bit breezy which cut down the blaring heat we've been having here in Las Vegas.  We started out near the picnic tables along the wooden fence, then headed up onto the walkway.  Hana was not only full of energy, but a ham as well, posing as if she's been to professional modeling classes.  And Alex, having newly discovered his walking legs, was calm as could be when being held, but a walking maniac when let loose!  They both have such distinct and charming personalities which certainly came through in their portraits.

Even before we headed home from their session, Maria asked about photographing the kids in their traditional Korean outfits.  How could I resist!  And so in addition to the family portrait session, you'll see some images of Hana and Alex in their ethnic dress.  I love the colors and the meaning behind their clothing.  Maria and Julian you have a wonderful and charming family.  I can't wait to watch your family grow and experience more of life.

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
