2010, A Breakthrough Year

Wow, I don't even know where to start.  The past 12 months has been a whirlwind of advances, meeting wonderful and new clients, and growth.  I had publically declared in January that my motto for this year was to “Live Breakthrough Minded.”  I can honestly say that this has been such an amazing year with one breakthrough after another, and I have you, my clients to be so very thankful for.  Your choice to trust in me to capture your special moments has been rewarding beyond words.  I consider being a photographer sacred work, because we never know what tomorrow will bring, and each moment no matter how insignificant it may feel at the time, can take on a whole different meaning within minutes.

This year saw many advances and changes for Shalimar Studios.  There were new custom design products offered, I photographed a select number of exclusive weddings, and expanded our network and reach within the photographic community.  And for 2011, I am equally ambitious with my goals to continue to learn from top international photographers, attaining higher specialization within the industry, and adding unique and specialized products for you to choose to preserve your precious portraits.  Even more so than all that, I pledge to continue to photograph with my eyes and my heart.

I want to thank you all for making a commitment to capture special moments in your lives and not waiting for images to get old to restore them, but to embrace those moments now.  Please take a moment to watch the slideshow below as my thanks to you.  I am so very honored to have photographed you and your families.  Each of you showed me how unique and special you are.

May the Peace and Beauty of the Holiday Season be with you throughout the coming year.

With love, Yasmin

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
