Nothing makes me happier than seeing people in love, cherishing their time together, and reminding the rest of us what life is all about. It was such a treat to be able to experience it first hand with local doctors Preehti and Shivesh. A storybook love, they were introduced by friends which turned into a long distance relationship when Shivesh took a position here in Las Vegas, leaving Preethi on the East coast. It wasn't until about 9 months ago that Preethi moved to Las Vegas to join Shivesh, and on a whim planned a weekend trip to Cancun. As kismet would have it, Shivesh already had the ring and on a beautiful moonlit night, at a beach-side setting reserved just for them, Shivesh proposed. Through her tears of joy, Preethi accepted.
Both brilliant in mind and kind at heart, these two are a match like I've never seen. Pure happiness and commitment is what emanates from them both, and I was so honored to be the one photographing their engagement portraits as they start their branch of the family tree together. They opted for one of our new Couture Sessions choosing to shoot both on location and in studio, and I love that they honored their Indian heritage with Preethi wearing a gorgeous lengha she purchased in India.
Preethi and Shivesh, I'm so happy to have met you both and that our time together has blossomed into a friendship. I wish you the best for your wedding on the East coast in just a few short months, and look forward to celebrating with you back here in Las Vegas.
