Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep

I am humbled and honored to have recently been approved to be a volunteer photographer for the breakthrough organization, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, (NILMDTS).  NILMDTS is a foundation dedicated to families who suffer an early infant loss, by preserving the images of their infant loved ones whom pass away.  It is a network of over 7,000 volunteer photographers in the US and 25 countries.

When a baby dies, their family's lives may be turned upside down, and this is where the NILMDTS volunteers step in with a helping hand and a healing heart.  Even though portraits may be the last thought on their minds, NILMDTS contributes to their healing by creating heirloom, remembrance photographs.  These images will allow the families to honor and cherish their babies, and share the spirit of their lives, and heal by honoring their child's legacy.  It is at the family's request, that I will be invited to the hospital or hospice, to conduct a sensitive and private portrait session, and provide them with a CD/DVD of professionally retouched images which can be used to print portraits of their cherished baby.

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
