Mia is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met. An eight year old German Shepherd mix, her age shows in the sprinkles of gray on her muzzle. But that doesn’t stop her youthful personality and zest for life from showing. I’ve known of Mia for quite some time as her owner is my personal fitness trainer Karen, and as Karen will attest to, any conversation on dogs is a good conversation in my book.
Mia came for her first professional portraits and what a doll with her expressions. Here’s a few words from Karen on the session went:
“This was a pet photo shoot so my biggest concern was whether or not Mia would pose and sit still as needed. Yasmin is a natural with animals and made Mia feel instantly comfortable. She was prepared with treats when Mia needed a little encouragement and she took the most flattering pictures of my sweet pup.”
It was a pleasure to chat with Karen after she saw the final images, and hear how she not only treasures the portraits, but knows it documents this special time in her family’s life having Mai being such a large part of it.
