Melissa’s Studio Portraits and Branding Portraits, a hybrid

I’ve been going to Melissa as a massage therapist for a few years now, and wow is she the best I have ever come across. She KNOWS the body and doesn’t offer just a fluffy massage, but she really works the muscles. Being an expert in her field, marketing and showing clients what she does is an important part of building value.

What first caught my attention of Melissa was her arm and hand positioning in her old photos. It looked so impressive, and as I have described during our shoot, she is dancing with her arms during a massage. I know, that sounds odd, but just look at these new images we captured during her Branding Portrait Session. Trust me, you’ll be rushing to schedule with her soon.

Another critical piece to marketing your business, is showcasing more about yourself, your interests and hobbies, so that potential clients feel they know you better than just a name behind the business. This helps build trust, finds common ground, and allows you to express your values.

One such area of Melissa’s life is her fitness routine and commitment to keeping herself active. Not only did adding those images into her Branding Session speak more to who she is, but it also helps tell the story of how keeping fit outside of massage, helps he be a better massage therapist. So off to the gym we went to capture Melissa in action.

And finally, the hybrid of this session came when Melissa stopped into our studio for nothing else than some stunning, new portraits to celebrate who she is as a woman. She is independent, confident, determined, fun and fabulous!

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
