Recently Shalimar Studios was a featured business that offered a special promotion on the website www.groupon.com. For those that are unaware of this site, it is awesome! Groupon hosts sites for various cities throughout the US, and all you have to do is sign up for their email list for your city, and each day your inbox will have an awesome deal to a local business. How can you go wrong with such wonderful offers as these? Of corse I had to purchase the Pilates special as I've been wanting to try this type of exercise for quite some time. Who couldn't use a little stretching, strength training and toning? Each day I look forward to seeing what new and exciting local business is making me a great offer.
One of the quirky benefits of Groupon is their creative descriptions of each profiled business. Funny, yet informative, their wording perfectly describes each business and offer and makes you want to purchase all of them! When it came to our offer for Shalimar Studios, I was curious what they would write, and I have to say, I'm humbled and blushing all at the same time. I love this concept and Stephanie at their headquarters in Chicago was a doll to work with.
