Equestrian Styled Shoot

Since moving to Arizona, I’ve been on a quest to expand my portfolio in new and exciting ways.  One area of interest which has been with me for quite some time has been equine photography.  I have no experience riding or owning a horse, however if you’ve followed along on my social media channels, you may have noticed that I have a slight obsession with horses.  Most of my time with horses in Nevada and Arizona has been tracking down the local wild populations of mustangs.  It is something that in between my regular shoots I can take some time for myself, go and explore in nature, and spend time with these beautiful beasts.  I always come home grounded and with a deep sense of peace.

As I’ve researched more into equine photography, I’ve come across other fellow professional photographers and recently had the opportunity to travel to Santa Barbara for a specialized equine themed bridal shoot.  Hosted by Sara Shier Photography, she gathered some great vendors, models and horses and the results, well they speak for themselves.  I was in heaven as this shoot took place at the beach in Santa Barbara.  Horses on the beach?  Who doesn’t love that!

I’M  YASMIN

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
