A big congratulations goes out to my friends Steve & Natalie on the birth of their precious daughter Ava. Having known Steve for almost 5 years now, it has been such a joy to watch him travel through his journey of becoming a father. It is often said that men don't feel like a father until their child is born, but Steve was the exception. From the moment I first congratulated him on the pregnancy, you could see a sense of pride building. Watching him grow and learn over the last 9 months has been such a refreshing experience and joy to witness.
It wasn't until two months ago that I finally was able to meet Natalie in person. She is just as beautiful inside as she is outside as you can see reflected in her maternity portraits. For her session with me, she came completely prepared with ideas and outfits which made my job as the photographer completely effortless. We spent about an hour together and I can tell already what a wonderful mother she will be. The next time I see her will be for Ava's newborn portrait session, and can't wait to capture their first family portraits.
