We are so honored to be partnering with the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health for their annual Keep Memory Alive fundraiser. This year Keep Memory Alive is presenting “2010 Power of Love” which will take place on Saturday, February 27th, 2010, at the Bellagio here in Las Vegas. It is a star studded event filled with celebrity guests featuring a live and silent auction where all proceeds will benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health and their tireless efforts in the battle against Alzheimer's, Huntington's, Parkinson's, ALS and memory disorders.
As a business owner and daughter of a physician, I am dedicated to focusing on issues that help us gain greater health and awareness through research and treatment, especially in our local community. That is why I am so passionate about documenting and photographing families, as they are the most important aspect of our lives, and when one loses a loved one to a tragic brain disease or condition, I can not help but think how powerful portraits become. For this event, Shalimar Studios is donating portrait services to the silent auction where all funds earned will go directly to the Lou Ruvo Center.
