This title might be a little unnerving to read but it's my story. It's part of my journey, my growth and my dream. It is a posting I was asked to write for my friend and mentor Scott Bourne for his wildly successful website Photofocus. Scott is a visionary in the field of photography, maintaining an almost genius-like status when it comes to equipment. Companies fall over themselves to have him try out their new inventions, and feverishly make changes no matter how small based upon his opinion. However, he not only is a techie, but also one of the kindest, most giving people I know. He can not stop himself from spreading his knowledge which has been compiled from over 35 years of experience. It's safe to say, he's a very well-known gentleman. So recently Scott asked me to write a post about my experience with my new studio lights. I was a little nervous, but as I started to write, the words flowed freely. I was writing with my heart and not with my mind.
And so today, Scott posted my writing on Photofocus, and I can not express how honored I am. I'm humbled, honored, and thankful for his guidance, permission to experiment, and faith in me. Thank you Scott from the bottom of my heart. You're a dear friend!
