If you have been following me for the past few years, you may have noticed that I have a muse, Ria, who I tend to photograph when I have an idea for a personal project. I've lost count of how many times we've collaborated, but am happy to say that she has become a dear friend and when we come together for a shoot I know we will create unique images, after all, some of my most recogzined images are from shoots featuring Ria.
Our most recent shoot actually was the brainchild of a henna/mendhi artist from Sacramento, Ash. Ash was coming to Las Vegas to participate in a local South Asian event, and when I found out she would be here, I reached out to her asking if she wanted to collaborate on a shoot. Ash loved the idea of a gypsy/bohemian shoot in the desert featuring the beautiful henna designs she is known for in the Bay Area. It wasn't long before we set a date and exchanged inspiration images for the type of mood and overall feel of the shoot.
The day of the shoot turned out to be another fun-filled, all-woman team, featuring Ash's beautiful henna designs, Ria as our model, and Priya as assistant. I really felt like it was a bunch of girlfriends hanging out. Thanks ladies for such a fun and fabulous day!
