Ladies and Gentlemen, I introduce to you, the symphonic metal band Ashentide! This band hails from Los Angeles and features one very special woman on keyboards. This lady, Anastasia, Fury of the Tundra, is my sister-in-law, and last December invited me to Los Angeles to photograph her band. I was completely ecstatic and excited to make the journey down to see my brother and his wife and meet all these other talented musicians whom have come together to form Ashentide. We set aside a date last December for the photo shoot at a location Anastasia had scouted just north of Malibu and off we went.
