I'm so excited to be invited to be a part of the local chapter of the American Heart Association's annual gala. It's the 20th Annual Heart Ball fundraiser which is taking place Saturday, April 24th, 2010, at the Ritz-Carlton at Lake Las Vegas. I'll be photographing the event which will encompass corporations sponsoring tables with benefactors, a silent auction, and even a martini bar hosted by Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman!
In addition to photographing the event, I've donated a portrait package consisting of a portrait session and portrait credit, as well as a custom photo jewelry necklace. Kristi, the director of the Heart Ball, has been such a doll to work with, and greets me with a hug when I see her. I know this is a big event to put together, but I'm sure it will go off without a problem as she is organized, genuine, and passionate about the cause. She even has Shalimar Studios featured in an ad in the program. Thanks Kristi!
