My Most Personal and Emotionally Demanding Shoot to Date

Dear Friends and Clients,

I am very excited to announce that I have been chosen to be 1 of 6 women to participate in a special photo project in Thailand with an organization called The Giving Lens.  While in Thailand, we will be partnering with a local NGO and we need cameras.  Do you have a gently used digital camera, stowed away in some drawer gathering dust?  Donate it and it will go to amazing young girls in Northern Thailand who have been rescued from, or are at-risk of sex trafficking.  A camera in their hands can do incredible, life-changing things for self-confidence, self-worth, value and vision.

The trip is coming up soon, so please let me know if you have something to donate and I can arrange a drop-off or pick-up.  If you think you can help, please email me and I will send you more details.

Cameras we need:  working condition, working LCD screen on the back, preferably a rechargeable battery but we will take AA, cords and chargers, a memory card of at least 512MB to 1GB, everything in one ziplock or resealable bag.

And don’t forget to stay tuned to my Instagram and other social media sites as I will be posting and documenting this photo project daily.  I thank you in advanced for your help.

Sincerely, Yasmin

Portrait, Branding, Fitness & Studio PHOTOGRAPHER

Fueled by equal parts Earl Grey tea and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
